Vehicle Detail

This truck has sold twice now and both times buyers have not followed through with the transaction. This is being sold as a PARTS TRUCK and should be bid on accordingly. The engine runs strong but the rear differential issue that I mention later in this description makes the truck undriveable until it is fixed. Only bid on this truck if you plan to have it towed home and checked out and fixed. I NEED TO BE RID OF THIS TRUCK, THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM LISTING IT SO DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE GOING TO COME AND COMPLETE THE DEAL. I have had this truck for about 5 years and it has been very reliable, but due to major rust on the underside it is beyond what I want to have repaired. The rear differential is cracked and the quote to fix this was more than I am able to handle. I was told by someone else that it needed a new rear end but I am not a mechanic and this is just someone else's opinion. I would not drive this truck any significant distance without having it repaired first. Also a limb recently fell on the truck denting the roof on the passenger side, several pictures are included showing this damage. There is no cd player in the truck. The lcd screen that shows the mileage and what gear you are in just went blank on me. After doing some research online it appears that this is a pretty common problem due to poor solder on this electronic piece. If you google 2002 silverado odomoter you should be able to find a number of links addressing this issue, please look into it before bidding if this might be an issue for you. I checked the fuse and it is in tact so my best guess is that it is an issue with the solder. The mileage of 122,500 is definitely within a couple thousand miles of the actual, I would guess it's right aroudn 123,000 but with the screen broken it's hard to tell. This truck still drives strong, I have put about 40,000 miles on it over my ownership and have had very few problems outside of the rust issues. I am selling this car as a parts truck for someone looking for a strong engine or whatever else they might find in this truck. As I said the odometer is blank and does not show the mileage, but I included a picture of the tag showing when the next oil change is supposed to be and I would guess the mileage is probably about 2000 miles less than this tag shows. This truck is being listed as a parts truck and once the transaction is complete I will not accept any returns and will give no refunds. The first buyer made the transaction and then had issues so I refunded his purchase, but I will not refund again. If you buy this truck it is yours so plan on having it towed or whatever you deem necessary to get this truck home. I might be able to get it towed up to 100 miles in your direction, but this is not certain so don't expect it to happen. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks and good luck!
