The truck is offered in the stock configuration with the exception of power steering, air conditioning and SOR 2.5" suspension, 83,245 original miles. This FJ40 has spent it’s life in the San Diego / Palm Desert area so NO rust. Original 2F engine and drivetrain. The previous owner had the Land Cruiser since 1994. This FJ40 has had regular maintenance throughout her life including some paint work but much of the paint remains original. Stock wheels and hubcaps, original mats, all new upholstery. Pioneer AM/FM/CD. Body and undercarriage are well preserved by desert climate. Garage kept and driven sparingly. Exterior: While much of the Freeborn Red paint is bright and shiny, there are area's where the original paint has wear, small scratches and patina. I've done my best to photograph these areas. The body is in excellent, rust free condition. There are chrome accents and the truck includes what I call the DE-Bling kit which includes duplicate door hinges, windshield hinges, kick out vents, & fuel door for those who would prefer to remove the chrome. She includes a heavy duty Con-Ferr discovery rack. All lights work as they should. She has newer 31x10.50 Yohohama Geolander AT tires in excellent shape mounted on OEM gray steel 15" wheels and hubcaps. Interior: The interior is in excellent condition with original mats, newer gray vinyl upholstery, gray headliner and air conditioning. There is a long padded toolbox installed behind the front seats. The original jump seats will accommodate two passengers in the rear. Other features include: newer sun visors, headliner, new 4-speed shift knob, Con-Ferr center console, Pioneer AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth audio with speakers installed in the rear. Everything is in excellent working condition. The dash pad un-cracked. The dash is excellent and uncut. All floors are solid. The owners manual, jack, jack rods, tool kit are included. Mechanical: Original 2F engine with Weber carb and original 4-speed transmission. The engine, transmission, clutch and brakes are all in good working order. The original carb, air cleaner and any emission / smog equipment that was removed are included with the truck. The suspension is the SOR 2.5" lift with Pro Comp shocks. All lights, turn signals, controls and switches work properly. Summary: These old school 4WD trucks serve up an awesome combination of fun daily driving combined with superior off-roading prowess. Front disc and rear drum brakes combine to a quick and uneventful stop. The color is the original Toyota Freeborn Red (paint code 309).
