Its an original fastback, C Code 289 3 speed car originally, but now it has a 4 speed toploader. Engine in the car seems to be the original. It has 1964 Date codes and Casting numbers. This is a great car and an awesome place to start when building a nice Mustang. The car is very complete. What is not pictured I have. It does come with front bucket seats, new gas tank, the two mustang hub caps not currently on the car, the rocker molding trim, front and rear bumpers, and some miscellaneous trim and extra parts. Car has drum brakes front and rear. The car starts right up by the key and runs and drives. The brakes also work. The lights also work. New gas tank still needs to be installed. Has a new fuel pump. The car is overall very solid. It has already had new floor pans installed and new quarter panel skins. They did a good job putting them in. The trunk floor and rocker panels are solid. Rear frame rails are solid. Front frame rails are solid. Right under the battery tray that inner rail needs a small patch. Easy fix. and it needs a battery tray. All of the glass is in the car and is in great shape. The rear seat is a folddown and has all the trim etc, and the trap door that hasn't been cut for speakers which is nice. The VIN is stamped on the LH fender apron and The original door tag comes with the car. These VINS match the CLEAR TITLE that comes with the car. This is a nice little fastback that is solid and complete and not ate up with rust. Car will runs and drive but it has not been driven a long distance for a while, so plan on trailering the car.
