This 2003 XR400R is in excellent condition. I'm an engineer by degree and by trade and I've taken great care of this bike. It has always been stored indoors. It is excellent mechanically and it is very reliable... it's ready to ride anywhere. This bike is also very versatile. You can poke around on it all day long or you can fly down trails, it excels doing both. Everything on the bike works... head light, tail light, distance tracker, etc. I've owned it since 2010 and the previous owner indicated he had put around 40 hours on this bike. Since 2010, I estimate that I've added only an additional 30 hours from riding local trails within Kisatchie National Forest. Included with the sale is a Clymer service manual and the original tool kit. To ensure this bike will give its new owner years of trouble free enjoyment, I've performed the following preventative maintenance within the last month:Replaced oil (Pro Honda GN4 - 10W-40)Replaced spark plug (NGK DPR8Z)Cleaned, lubricated, and tensioned chain (PJ1 chain lube)Replaced air filter (Pre-oiled)Detailed entire bike (It is very clean!)Replaced rear fender and number plate plastics (previous owner had put decals on these plastics)Installed better looking thick, vinyl tank decalsThis bike is listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing early.
