This is the first year of civilian production after WWII, it's equipped with the famous flathead Ford V-8. It has only 500 miles since the restoration. New bed , numbers matching truck. These trucks are generally found in very worn out condition, you will rarely find a barn find like this. The frame still has the forming marks from manufacturing. This is a turn key truck. Wood bed is super nice. I have shown this three times and it won first each time. It was in the winners circle in the Rhinebeck NY spring car show, the plaque goes with the truck.
