These coupes are considered by some to be one of the most iconic of all the M-B styles. Our listed example is still in the hands of the original owner. This sleek looking classic is thought to be extremely safe, comfortable, generally reliable and really fun to drive. Like most of the higher end Mercedes-Benzes, this coupes is loaded with tons of nice luxury features. If you have been in the market for one of these cars please give this one your strong consideration. Living in a protected garage, this particular coupe is still very intact. The original black paint finish is a good quality, exhibiting only some minor flaws from 13 years of use. The gray leather interior is trimmed with rich burled wood details and presents in above average condition. The five liter engine is strong and tight with no smoke, noises or any other mechanical gremlins. When we drove the car, to shoot the pictures, it started right up, ran great, shifted as designed and steered and stopped with little to no effort. The doors, windows, trunk and hood all open and close correctly and show nice tight factory gaps. It was super easy to operate and wonderfully inspiring to drive! We didn't want to bog our bidders down with pages of Mercedes-Benz history and miles of redundant performance information. We consider that most of the interested automotive enthusiasts, who may be looking at this listing, will know much more about these particular cars than we do. If you do need additional generic information, it is abundant through the use of some simple internet searches. There is a spare for the car that sits in it's proper position in the super clean trunk area, under the cover, as well as the jacking tools and other stock items that the car came with the car. Regular service attention that was given to this vehicle means that you can count on the predictable reliability and performance that this car will provide for the new owner. We hope that our pictures speak for themselves, regarding general condition. The stock magnesium wheels have a few minimal touches of rash and are wrapped in fairly new Pirelli tires. This car is a currently registered and driven vehicle and we have a clean transferable title in hand. It recently passed New York States rigid inspection for safety and emissions. Our showcased car is almost 14 years old, so please forgive us if we've overlooked something minor. We noticed that there are service messages that appear on the dash (shown) which include, but may not be limited to, SRS and tire pressure sensor issues. This car would benefit greatly from a professional day of beauty which would bring the good looks up to the next level. The driver's side mirror got hit and it is no longer properly attached, and the directional lens on it is cracked (shown). The finish on the headlight switch surround (shown) and steering wheel button controls, got compromised probably from the use of an improper cleaning product. We are sure that there will be some other minor issues that we failed to discover, so please bid accordingly. We have both of the original keys, for this is a wonderful vehicle.
