Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is what I truly believe was one of the most beautiful Jaguars ever built along with the color scheme this is an exceptional car. I purchased this car from a friend who had taken excellent care of it. It was purchased as a father-son project, unfortunately, too many other projects and toys got in the way, so it’s now time to move on. The paint on the upper section has quite a bit of fading and will require a complete paint job. The body is all original with two small surface rust spots as you will see in photos, also a few parking lot dings but nothing major. The interior is in great condition leather looks and smells good (also please see photos). While this vehicle has approximately 164,000 miles on it, it has been very well-maintained. The engine was redone with the new style timing chains and tensioners approximately 20,000 miles ago. The transmission was rebuilt approximately 39,000 miles ago and shifts beautifully. The transmission was serviced which included filter gasket, new 13 pin connector and seal as well as Jaguar transmission fluid which only has 500 miles on it. The oil has approximately a thousand miles on it. Recently replaced rear main oil seal, both fuel pumps and installed a new alternator. Upper shock bushings were replaced and tires are in decent condition about 40% tread left. Supercharger has been rebuilt zero mileage on it. Right ratty ETA hose has been replaced as well as the breather hose. Water seal, a new fuel pipe (upper motor one) has also been replaced. The car is not running and will require very few items that I have not completed. These items are 1) reinstall two vacuum lines, 2) reconnect throttle body which by the way is a rebuilt because the old one was giving me problems, 3) refill with coolant, 4) reconnect battery (the one I have is probably dead) and add gas and it should start. Just to clarify, when I say recently done, that is within the last 18 to 20 months. This car is being sold as is, with no guarantees. Please note—Car is NOT running and MUST BE TOWED UPON PICKUP. Thank you for looking and Good Luck!
