Service and Upgrades: @150k miles New Timing belt kit with Water Pump, tensioner, rollers, etc New Camshaft kit with all seals and gaskets Injectors resealed and adjusted for max perfromance Engine software tune custom made for this car so it makes use of the whole potential in OEM stock form. The work was done at my shop by a VW tech close friend of mine. The tuning works like this: part throttle (soft and easy pedal) the engine runs lean (max air for little fuel) and goes progressive with how hard you press the accelerator pedal. Full throttle the engine gets max fuel and boost all the way to redline. The engine is 100% responsive in any gear either part or full throttle from 1.5k rpm to 4.5k rpm, unlike stock when you only have 2k rpm range usable. It does light up the traction control now under full boost. So if you drive it nice the fuel economy has improved upper 40's mpg instead of lower 40's but if you are in a hurry you still get upper 30's mpg, before you were not able to go in a hurry with this car. The car drives easy now with soft pedal touch instead of the continuous hard pedal you needed before to keep the car at hwy speeds that killed the fuel economy. Before 42-43mpg at 70-80mph now 45-48mpg. This tune has given quite a character to this car that seemed before lifeless, flat, loud and obnoxious. Condition: this Jetta is a really nice combination of sport, comfort and economy, looks and drives like a sporty german car sedan while getting the best miles per gallon possible on a mid size car. Southern car clean in and out no rust, paint is shiny all around but has scratches, chips and side dings, interior is clean and in good shape with the usual wear. The car is serviced and runs good, better then most at this age and miles. I am driving the car daily and it is great on power and mileage. Comes with Rebuild title due to front end collision, minor damage see the last picture, replaced the hood, front bumper and grills no damage on the frame, suspension or engine. I bought the car from an insurance company a few months ago and had it fixed and then inspected by the GA DMV inspector. I am a used car dealer and licensed rebuilder in the state of Georgia.
