complete nut and bolt restoration ,......... the story ,....... i purchased the bike 7 years ago with only 1,400 original miles on it , it was super straight and unmolested , it sat in a garage for 35 years unused ,.... unfortunately , the original owner rolled it outside that garage and it sat in the weather for about 2 years before i bought it , hence , the restoration...... most parts were acquired thru paul miller ........all rubber from front to rear is fresh (exceptriderpegs).......crankshaft rebuilt with fresh seals from miller's guy the crankmaster , nos standard pistons/rings and all fresh seals throughout , carb's rebuilt , all cables and wheel bearings new and steering head , the gas tank was empty when i got it and it's amazing like new inside.......fresh paint done in original candy lavender/ and egret white 2 tone , new seat cover (the best from new zealand)........triple plate chrome ,......the bars are not stock but lower european style and all cables trimed for perfect fit.......the only flaws are a a small 1/4" chip in the chrome of the headlight bucket and the gas cap had pits (pot metal) and did not chrome well. since the resto i have put about 5,000 miles on it and enjoyed the heck out of it , it runs like a champ and ready to ride , .........the 5,000 miles has about used up that rear tire but other than that , it needs nothing ,........included is the original red stripe bridgestone's that i removed during resto , there in very good condition and useable (actually held air with original tubes!) ........complete orig. tool kit , ......the gauges are original (had a slight haze that buffed right off)........somewhere i have some before pic's and can share to those interested and will send my phone # to any with questions..........this auction could end any time as it is also listed localy .
