Description Year 1979 Make Chevrolet Model Corvette Coupe VIN 1Z8749S444002 Mileage 77,362 Exterior Silver Interior Red Engine 383 V8 (450+ hp) Transmission 4 Speed Manual - M21 We at Midnite motor Classics in Margate, Florida are  proud to present AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN this very nice 1979 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Here's a very nice C3  Corvette with something extra - extra horsepower, that is.  This 1979 Corvette Coupe is in very  good condition inside and out, and it runs AMAZING. This Corvette has recently had its powertrain upgraded, including a Blueprint 383 stroker crate engine. It rated  at 450+ horsepower, and this is probably the fastest Corvette we have ever  driven. The exterior is in very good condition - the paint  shines all around, and there are no significant body defects, just a few small  nicks and stone chips. It looks like this car has had one repaint since new. The 1979 Corvette Coupe came standard with removable T-Tops. They have been  replaced with NEW glass tops. The interior is very nice, and we believe it is all original. The leather seats have no holes or tears, and there is no smoke  odor. The carpets, door panels and dash are all good. This Corvette has power windows, tilt wheel, and  factory air conditioning. The original radio  has been replaced with a unit that we can't figure out how to turn on. It does  have a USB input, and there are new speakers in the back. As nice as the rest of the car is, the real highlight is under the hood. The  powertrain was upgraded about a year ago, and this car runs VERY STRONG. (It  idles like a pussycat, but runs like a tiger.) This is a Blueprint 383  stroker V8 crate engine rated at 450 hp. Its mated to a rebuilt 4 speed M21  Muncie transmission. Other upgrades included a new shifter, new 4-core aluminum radiator, new  Magnaflow headers, and new Magnaflow exhaust. The rear end has 3:55 gears and positraction $15k was spent upgrading this car to its current state. If you'd like to inspect and  test drive a vehicle, please call  for an appointment. Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between  purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers,  and in some cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait  for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days. As we are located In Florida, we are required to  title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles  listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer. We do not reveal reserve price amounts, so please  don't ask. We prefer to see all auctions  through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer  however, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the  right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We  reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed  back. Payment and Fees We will add a $249 dealer prep  charge to the final bid price. This is  to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning, phone calls, Fed-Exing of packages and  other document handling costs. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of  the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.   You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a  cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for  full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours  of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can  be sent or car is picked up. Paypal will be accepted  for the $500 deposit only. . If these forms of payment are not acceptable,  please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days  thereafter. If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax  and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, you will be required  to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost, including  registration fees, inspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.  If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your  funding has been approved.
