This truck is equipped with a 460 7.5l gas motor and 5 speed manual transmission. The truck is fully loaded with power windows, power locks, power lumbar seats, cruise control, tilt wheel, A/C and dual tanks. The interior is in great shape and has very little wear. The dash is not faded or cracked anywhere. The original radio and speakers still remain in the truck and sound excellent. The carpets are very clean and free from any major stains or fading. The seats are very firm and have very little wear to the padding. The headliner is not sagging anywhere and the driver’s side sun visor still has all of the original safety decals on it. The paint on this truck is very nice and has a great shine. There is no fading or peeling clear anywhere on the truck. The truck does have some common road chips on the front of the hood and a few small blemishes throughout as one would expect for an original truck of this age. The truck was fitted with running boards and mud flaps since new, so the paint in the rocker panel areas and behind the wheels has been protected from heavy chipping. The body is very straight aside from a crease on the bottom of the driver's door, a dent on the top of the tailgate on the passenger side and a dent beneath the driver's side headlight in the lower grille panel. All of these areas have been photographed and included within this auction. The body gaps are very even throughout and the doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a brand new car. This truck is very rust free, having surface rust on the axles and suspension components only. The body is completely solid and all of the floor pans, door bottoms, tailgate, bed and fenders appear like-new. The transfer case and the bottom of the motor are very clean and have hardly any grease buildup on them. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The engine runs very smoothly and has tons of torque. The transmission shifts smoothly and does not pop out of gear under acceleration. The 4x4 engages smoothly and the lights still illuminate on the dash when engaged. The truck was factory equipped with a 4.10 limited slip rear axle, making it a great tow vehicle combined with the 5 speed manual transmission. Included with the sale are all of the original Ford F Series owner’s manuals, pamphlets, and original salesman's business card all inside of the original vinyl carrying case. The original window sticker also remains with this truck in excellent condition. This is a very nice truck offered at a low reserve price.
