This car is in great, very original shape. My dad's daily driver for almost 12 years. The following repairs were completed over the past year: 1. Replaced Crankshaft position sensor 2. Replaced exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR) 3. Replaced Ignition coils 4. Replaced battery 5. Replaced air flow sensor. 6. The ECM and TCM were rebuilt. The car starts immediately and runs perfectly even though the engine lights and transmission lights are lit (see photo). If the new owner goes through the reprogramming procedure for the control modules, my guess is they will go out. I have driven it on several 2-3 hour trips, parked at the airport for a week, and the cat starts immediately. The car never misses a beat. Car cover included. Other improvements: 1. Truck and hood recently resprayed. 2. Worn kick panel carpet replaced.3. Center cushion of driver's seat recovered. The paint is in great shape for a 20 year old car. Known issues: 1. Horn doesn't blow (relay?), 2. Neutral safety switch is bad (replacement switch included) 3. Hood sticks when opening. 4. Parking break doesn't work. 5. The temperature and fan knobs are both fan switch knobs (minor cosmetic issue). As for the accident report, my father never mentioned anything about an accident and I was around the car in 2011. I know the car was never repaired or painted (except the hood and truck which I did) and all the parts in the reported area are original. Whatever happened had to be very minor. The major repairs are complete. The car is in great shape and ready for several more years of fun driving. A video file of the car running at speed is available.
