Berger Chevrolet in collaboration with General Motors re-created the factory muscle car program in 1999 when the Camaro legacy was scheduled to end in 2002. GM partnered with Berger Chevrolet to produce a limited number of these hot rods, 100 numbered cars with 1 prototype. Up for sale is Berger #56. Car #56 is very rare and special. Berger #56 has under 3000 original miles, fully documented, including build sheet, dyno sheet, and original bill of sale. The car is signed by Matt Murphy (GMMG), Scott Settlemire (GM Camaro brand manager), and Billie Lawler (GMMG Engine builder). 2001 Berger SS Camaro. 6-Speed. T-tops. White with black stripes and black houndstooth interior. 17"x9.5" chrome mallet wheels. Dimpled front and rear rotors, lowered 1.5", black rear tail light panel, black grill with period correct big block SS emblems. Painted body color top hoop. "Prescribed Power by Berger" package (many options!). The engine: 1 of 5 with the PHASE 2X6R package. This package includes FLP ceramic coated full-length headers with interchangeable cats, straight pipes, mufflers. Hand polished and handpicked high-flow LS6 head package, chrome moly pushrods, hand ported throttle body, fly-cut pistons, lightweight flywheel, aggressive camshaft, tuned ECM, Hurst short throw shifter, creating @ 525 HP at the flywheel The car is for sale locally so the auction may be removed before the end if I have a local buyer.
