Selling a 1987 AM General M998 Humvee--6.5L diesel--auto transmission-4x4-29,089 original miles Truck was owned from new by military base in Virginia--Truck body on back with canopy--tires are in good condition--additional pictures of each tire available as well as other shots and video on request--normal wear and tear for this type truck Truck will start, run and drive. The title will be eligible for on road registration. We spoke to them on the day of the listing 10/2 and it will take about two weeks to get the SF-97 processed and all the paperwork will be sent. Buyer can go ahead and pick up truck with bill of sale and we will Fedex all the paperwork. Since the military doesn't title trucks it takes 3-4 weeks to get this document processed and they will send all the paperwork to get the truck registered. We considered waiting to sell it until we got the paperwork but it is easy enough to show buyer copies of what is being processed at their request. Truck located in South Boston, VA. We spoke with company today that will be issuing the SF-97 form from military. They said the forms were back ordered and it would be another week or two beyond what they had already told me before it will be issued. It is of no consequence to buyer unless they were planning on having the on road registration within a week after buying the unit. Please understand this is the federal government that we are waiting on so we sort of expect delays in the process but we do know that it will get done. If you have purchased these units in the past certainly you are familiar with the process.
