This is a 2 owner vehicle and I have owned this 2001 (A-4) AUDI about 14 years. I am now 76 years old and time to give up standard shift. I have owned many AUDIs and VWs. And love to drive them. I live in Florida for 7 months every year – no ice and snow for me – this vehicle stays in my garage. For the past 14 years this AUDI has only been driven in the summer months in The Finger Lakes Area of New York - with the exception of one winter when I brought it to our home in Florida. A 5 speed vehicle in our retirement community was not practical. We did keep the Florida registration and insurance as it is more reasonable. This 5-speed AUDI runs excellent! I feel that this AUDI has 100,000+ miles left. Engine (1.8T) runs excellent. At about 115,000 miles it had new half axles. I purchased new brake pads 7 years ago and haven't needed to replace the pads yet. I also bought a new timing belt and water pump but haven't needed to install them. I am not sure if the previous owner installed a new timing belt. I have changed the oil and filter regularly. Cruise – sunroof – windows - locks – A/C all work. Climate control is excellent. I have never used the cigarette lighter. It averages 30 MPG. There are a couple stone chips on the hood which you will notice in the photo. The interior is excellent. This model AUDI has the best coffee holder in the industry. It has cassette/CD player. Tires – front 65% worn --- rear – 20% worn. Issues – Check engine light has been on since I bought the AUDI. Also, I replaced the oil sensor because it shows as not working - new one did not eliminate the sensor light being on so that might be tied in with the Check Engine light. Brake pads, Timing belt, and Water Pump come with the car if you wish to install them. I enjoyed driving this car many years - locating a 2001 A-4 AUDI in this condition is becoming rare.
