I have been buying cars on Ebay for personal use for over a dozen years. Always had good luck and never run into troubles. This is the first car ever that I will attempt to sell on Ebay. A little bit of history. I bought this Corvette for my wife on Ebay in December of 2015 after searching online for over 6 months. We both wanted highly desirable triple black color combo Corvette with 6 speed manual transmission. To our surprise and disbelief, majority of the Vettes available come with automatic transmission (Who would want to buy a Sports car with an automatic transmission??? (-: ) We were planning to keep this Vette for a long time but with two toddler kids we really have no time to enjoy it. Since we bought it, we had mechanics perform the following services: New Optima Yellow BatteryFull tune up with MSD wires and Iridium Spark plugsFull Synthetic Amsoil engine oil, differential and gear box oil changeBrand new Tires <500 milesBrand new drilled/slotted rotors (front and back) and new pads.Install a set of new TPMS sensorsBrake system flushInstall new power antennaFix rocking chair problem (common on C5) In addition, we installed a double-din Android radio with reverse camera and full-time front camera recording. The system is powered by Alpine amp and Kicker speakers. The subwoofer is in the custom enclosure in the trunk. The system sounds impressive. The overall condition of the car is good. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country and back. I do not believe that the car was involved in accidents. The engine is powerful and mechanically sound. The bad: Our mechanics suggested that we replace Sway Bar Link set on all 4 sides. We purchased the new OEM sway bar set which can be installed by a buyer. It should be an easy job. The convertible top window is coming off. It can be glued back professionally for about a $100 or DYI. The convertible top is good shape. The driver side seat has a rip. The new seat cover can be purchased online for about $100. I would replace the existing radio bezel with a new one double-ding bezel from Metro (about $240). The radio installers did not a good job converting the space for the radio from single to double-DIN. As with any used car, there are probably some other imperfections. After all, it’s a used car. Inspections are welcome before the auction end. The mileage will increase slightly while the auction is running. Cashier’s check or cash is accepted.
