Selling my 1970 vw beetle. Don't drive her enough, but she has been a joy to drive and has been a highlight at many car shows and meets. FEATURES:upgraded 60s style fenderscal look t-beams upgraded cream interior new carpet new sony cd player new custom rear deck with aftermarket speakers and sound system carbon fiber steering wheel carbon fiber wrapped accents SCAT short shift kit 1914cc high performance motor with less than 1k miles dual 2 barrel weber carburators deep sump oil pan free flow oil cooling system with remote mount filter upgraded drivetrain/transmission with 4:11 rear empi aftermarket wheels drop spindles empi exhaust system new fuel tank brand new performance clutch with upgraded pressure plate less than 100 miles lots of other new parts too much to list car is clean and was a frame off rebuild. no expense spared. all electrical wiring upgraded with new wiring. motor/transmission alone worth over 6k. no rust, paint is decent but not show quality. has imperfections here and there but still looks pretty good. current wheels on the car are empi wheels but the aluminum finish is somewhat worn due to standing water from sprinklers. should shine up with a good metal polish though. I will include another set of brand new centerline wheels with the car if it sells at the right price. On Sep-12-17 at 14:35:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Car is sold AS IS. I've tried my best to describe the car but I am not a mechanic or auto body specialist. I advise you to do your research before buying. I will tell you that while the paint looks decent the roof and hood will need some attention as it does have imperfections. Ive been told that a vinyl wrap such as carbon fiber weave will hide these imperfections or you can elect for a repaint. These are really the only two issues that I am aware of.
