Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible that I have owned for the past 17 years. I've had fun with this car for the last 17 years but now it's time for someone else to enjoy it. When I bought this car in 2000 the previous owner had just repainted it and installed the new convertible top. The paint is bright red with a black convertible top. I have kept this car garaged and covered when not driving it, so the paint still looks good. The body has some normal dings and chips that a 17 year paint job would show. There are a couple areas where the paint has started to bubble. I tried to show this in one of the pics. The previous owner did use some body putty to repair some of the lower panels/fenders. I put on the Crager rims. The tires are in good shape. I installed new carpet and door panels both front and rear. The seats are in great shape and have no rips or tears. The convertible top works well and I also replaced the convertible top motor and rebuilt the convertible top cylinders. The drivers side window cranks down a little hard but otherwise works well as do all the other windows. The car came with a straight six cylinder. I replaced it with a rebuilt V8-350. The engine runs fantastic, and I installed a Holley 4 barrel carb on it. This car has "Three on the Tree." I rebuilt the steering column and shift linkage so it shifts just like new. The car has power steering also. I replaced all four brakes, brake lines, and master cylinder. The frame on this car had some weld repairs when I bought it in 2000, but I have not had any problems with it. The car runs straight down the road and I get many thumbs up while driving it. I have tried to describe this car as accurately and honestly as I can. If you have questions please ask. If you would like a collector car that runs great, drives well, and will create many "thumbs up" when driving it, and not have a fortune invested, this car is a good choice. I ask for a $500 nonrefundable deposit payable through Pay Pal within 48 hours of the sale. Full payment is due by cash in person within 10 days of sale. Serious bidders only. Buyer pays for shipping. Vehicle is sold as is.
