1968 dodge charger, great hot rod or restoration project, I am selling this for my dad, this car was being restored by a guy here in south dakota, he had the engine built and was supposed to have $9k invested in the engine, transmission and torque converter, according to him it was on the dyno at around 700hp but i have no paperwork to prove that, unfortunately he passed away and was not able to finish the car, the body is very solid overall but does need some rust repair, the tank was pulled out of the car to replace the trunk floor then that is how the car ended up sitting, i have a temporary tank in the trunk for now, i also have the gas tank, as far as rust repair it will need a trunk floor and trunk drops, i would plan on replacing the lh quarter panel rest of the car is pretty solid, really nice frame rails, floor pans are all pretty good but do have some pinholes in the passenger front pan, and 2 spots at the bottom of the back window in each corner,rockers are nice and solid,fender are solid as are doors, I have 2 hoods to go with the car, one was to be used to be cut out and the other just a nice original hood, it does need brake work as they are not working right now i am guessing a master cylinder i will work on that first part of next week and hopefully have it stopping good, it is just running open headers right now, i have all the chrome trim for the car around the back tail panel, window trim, wipers, wheel opening,it needs a complete interior kit, dash is nice and in pretty good shape but also need restoration, i do not have the a/c parts for under the hood they were gone when i got it, it does look pretty good and even with just a minimal amount of bodywork it could be touched up and left in the satin black car looks really mean as it sits, reserve the right to end auction early as car is for sale locally will take off $500 if i can keep the rims and tires and put aluminum slots on it!
