1986 Buick Estate Wagon. A true 35,500 mile survivor. This car needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. A time capsule. Bought new here in California and has remained here its entire life. The original owner passed away in 2009 and it was inherited by his son. The mileage at that time was right at 16,000. It was then purchased by the second owner who treated the car to new tires in 2014 with the original date coded tires put aside. It also received new rear shocks and the brakes were gone through for safety reasons. The second owner put on about 18,000 miles with the remaining miles put on by me after I purchased it from him. It drives like a dream...is quiet (has the entire original exhaust system) and is incredibly smooth. The engine, when on, sits perfectly still. Everything works...the ac blows cold...the windows work...the power antenna works...the seats work...etc. The paint has an imperfection on the hood...it will not photograph and a similar imperfection is on the roof near the center...again hard to see...but I wanted to make everyone aware of it. Also, the front bumper fillers need to be replaced as they are brittle. These are inexpensive and are available here on Ebay. The rear load lever compressor works perfectly. The headliner was just professionally replaced and looks beautiful. This car gets a lot of attention by even non car people who are amazed at its condition. This would be a great car to take tailgating at the next football game...just you and eight of your close friends. Please call with any questions or to set up an appointment for a test drive.
