My last of 5 Mini-trails. I planned on keeping this one due to the condition. But I need to thin the herd. This bike is an original survivor. I purchased it from the original (Shriner) owner. The only things I needed to do was rebuild the carb, rebuild the forks, and paint the wheels. I bead blasted the wheels and primered/painted them in the original Honda Silver. Also did the obvious stuff.. cleaned & lubed the chain, fresh air filter, fresh oil etc.. The fork stops are still in place, so the tank is perfect, as are the emblems. Headlight and tail light function as they should. It still has the original Nitto tires (with very little wear) but I replaced the tubes. The chrome is in excellent condition. It wears the original seat cover that is tear free. the paint is exceptional for a 48 year old bike. There are some small chips on the frame here and there, the paint on the tank is beautiful. She runs like a top. Has that mini-trail exhaust note that I remember so well. Shifts thru all 3 gears effortlessly. The only negatives; small crack developed at the bottom of the LH handlebar (still fine, but will need to be addressed at some point) license plate bracket (flat area where plate goes) is not perfectly straight. Has no battery. This little bugger runs, rides and looks just like it did 48 years ago. It is truly a piece of history. You will not be disappointed. Buyer responsible for shipping.
