Up for action is my 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 10th Anniversary. I absolutely love this car and I'm only selling it because I don't have time to use it. This is a real X code Anniversary car that the previous owner painted black and changed the T-Tops to black. The original 403 was bad so I replace it with a new remanufactured 403 C.I. It has a Comp Mutha Thumper cam, Roller Rockers, Timing Chain, Edelbrock intake, Holley Carb, Headers and Flow Master exhaust. The car sounds awesome. The tranny is a Turbo 35o with a shift kit and 2800 stall speed. Tranny has a small leak. I've changed the gasket twice but it leaks from sitting around. I wanted to keep the original looks but bring it to modern standards so the rims are 17" Classic Industries Snow Flakes with Nitto tires. The brakes, master cylinder and booster are all new. The car is a very good driver quality. It is not a show car. The paint shines but does have some blemishes. There are a couple minor door dings and a couple very small bubbles on the rear quarter. The interior is in good shape with no rips. The door panels, dash, etc are faded but still extremely presentable. The carpets are new. I purchased the car in October of 2012 with 55,000 miles. The car now has 60,000 miles and all work was done within the last 5000 miles. It could still use some TLC to be perfect. This car gets tons of attentions every time we take it out. Drive it anywhere and turn heads. Due to the age I'm selling the car as is. You are welcome to come check it out before you bid.
