Beautiful 1959 Ford Custom 300This gem has never been out of New Mexico and has spent the majority of its life tucked away in a garage. The body is super straight and is 100% rust free. All of the chrome is bright, no pitting at all and in excellent condition. The paint is an old repaint but it still has gloss to it. Glass is 100%. The 292 v8 does have chrome valve covers but the original covers are in the trunk (as is the bias ply that was on the spare). The photo shows old baby moons but the original Ford covers are installed. The only thing missing on the exterior is the antennae. The carpet is not the original however the rest of the interior is original. The rear seat is good, panels are about 80%. The front seat has a large section open on the drivers back and the seat primarily on the passenger side has big holes. All of the gauges and indicators work. The radio not working but it seems to be disconnected. Seatbelts were installed at some point. Motor: Starts easily and runs smooth. Shifts easily but the clutch feels weak but I imagine that it is the original. No leaks of any sort and even in 85+ degree weather runs cool. Cruises at 70 like a dream. No shimmy, no floating.
