The car is faded black with original beige color MB Tex interior. The car is showing 224,334 original miles. This quickly appreciating classic Mercedes Diesel coupe is an excellent candidate for restoration or a very good parts car. It has a solid body with some rust in the floors. Rocker panels are in good condition. Left front fender has minor creases and paint chipping on wheel arch. Center main floor section is solid however there are older rust repairs that need to be addressed. Front and rear bumper support braces and attachment points are solid. Doors and all wheel arches are very solid. All exterior chrome and stainless is in nice condition however the center grill chrome is faded. Front and Rear bumpers are unmarked and very nice. Glass, lenses and all exterior rubber is good. Both front fender beltline chrome strips are missing. Original interior and wood are in ok condition, they need good cleaning. Seats have normal wear creases with only minor tear on driver seat as seen in photos. All gauges and instruments are correct and in good condition. Non-smoker interior. Door panels, carpeting, headliner and dash are all in original condition. The center console wood is cracked. Electric windows are working however passenger window appears to be off regulator. Sunroof motor runs however the sunroof does not open. This Mercedes was recently serviced which included four new Hancook tires, new battery, brake service including a new front caliper and brake hoses, and many misc. small items. Total for services was $3,484.85. THE DIESEL STARTS EASILY AND RUNS HOWEVER IT WILL NOT REV CORRECTLY. THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN TO SPEED DUE TO THE DIESEL NOT REVING. We have not diagnosed the engine problem and are selling the car as-is . This is a great opportunity to own a Diesel classic coupe Mercedes Benz in restorable condition. We have a clear Pa title for the car. The car may be seen and test driven at our Lancaster, Pa showroom.
