Up for sale is a 1974 Montesa Cota 247 Trials motorcycle. It runs and rides great. The motor sounds nice, tight and quite. It sat for many years. I cleaned the carb and installled a new air filter, plug. Fresh gas and it started on the 4th kick. Matching frame and motor. The previous owner had the frame nickel plated. The frame still looks good, but it's not perfect. The gas tank is in great condition with out any leaks. It is free of fuel currently. The rear shocks feel great. It need a set of new tires, the tires on it are badly dry rotted. It still has the original aluminum fenders. I purchased it from the original owner that rode it in a few trials events back in the day. I do not have a title, bill of sale only. Included are the original, speedo, rear sprocket and some new front and rear wheel bearings. These are a great vintage trials motorcycle and a rare find. Please ask questions if you need to.
