This is a complete and original 1973 CR250M Elsinore. I have owned this motorcycle since 1987. It has been stored under cover the entire time. I had planned to do a complete restoration, but too many projects and too little time. This bike runs well and is what I call "scary fast". The only non-original parts I have replaced or added are the grips, throttle cable and front number plate. I have only put a few hours on the bike in the last 20 years. It does have the normal wear and tear you get riding a dirt bike. The gas tank has a small dent on the left side and a larger dent on the right side. Some surface rust. It could be ready for a vintage race very quickly.I hadn't started the bike for 3 years. Today I checked the oil, gassed her up and it started on the third kick. I will include the original owners manual that came with the bike in 1973. It is in good condition-50 pages long.
