Vehicle Detail

1957 Tiger Cub with a rebuilt motor. The motor was rebuilt and then stolen before the owner could even start it up. It turned up a couple of years later at a used car dealers lot and was reclaimed, but the owner still never started it or rode it. Fresh Virginia title (7/21/17) in that owners name signed and ready for transfer. Title matches engine # but not the frame # although both are 1957 according to the other information I've posted. Motor kicks over and has great compression. It's been stored for many years along with all the other parts you see in the friends 3 sided building so all have weathered to some extent. Another one of the frames, a 1961, has a title that matches a motor. The 1961 title ID is T69974 and it is not for the plunger frame bike which is a 1956. Somehow things have gotten a little screwed around & that has to be my fault, but hopefully it is all correct now. There are 4 frames and 5 motors in pieces along with lots of other spare parts as seen in the pictures. Everything in the pictures goes with the Cub that is listed. I WILL NOT SEPARATE ANYTHING SO PLEASE DON'T ASK ! It's a one time thing & I don't have the time. You'll have to ask the winning bidder and if he says it's OK I will forward his email address to you. I'll be happy to answer SENSIBLE QUESTIONS about any of the items that I can. This bike and the spares have been stored for a very long time, but there are lots & lots of very usable stuff there. Some of the transmission gears were NOS, but have suffered from storage. I've put them in some rust cleaner and will update the listing when I get them out. The speedometer in the last picture works smoothly. I don't know about the one on the bike, but if I have time I will check it too. I also have a Triumph Cub Instruction Manual #7 which has the worst looking cover on it I've seen, but the inside is really surprisingly good. It too goes with everything. Trying to find a gasket for a Triumph chopper I just bought I found a bag of Tiger Cub gaskets that will also go along with the package. CORRECTION: THE TRANSMISSION PARTS THAT I THOUGHT WERE NOS ARE ACTUALLY THE ONES HE REMOVED AND REPLACED IN THE MOTOR. SO THE MOTOR/TRANSMISSION IS GREAT AND THE OTHER PARTS ARE AS SEEN BUT USED. THANKS Please bid only if you are serious and have the funds to complete the purchase. The buy it now has to be one of the best bargains in Tiger Cubs you'll ever come across. 2 clear titles and all the extra parts. I just found a site that had the Triumph Cub ID #'s and I posted it in the pictures section.
