Vehicle Detail

This 2006 Triumph Scrambler is completely stock and has never been messed with. As an '06 model it has carbs rather than fuel injection. The only additions are a center stand and the Dart Fly Screen. Having a center stand is awesome, the Dart Fly Screen is mostly useless. Clean title in hand. I am the second owner and bought it in 2010 with 9,990 miles from the dealer who sold it originally. It now has just over 21,000. I’m a careful old geezer and in those 11,000 miles I’ve had it, it has never been abused. It has been in heated storage since October 2015 and I just took it out this June 2017. I replaced the 7-year-old battery and it fired right up, as it always has. I have all the service records, including those from the dealer from the very beginning. It has always been faithfully serviced. Most recently: •New battery @ 20,925 miles •Synthetic oil and filter change @ 20,356 miles •New Metzeler Tourance tires* @ 18,898 miles •18,000 mile service** @ 18,309 miles *This is the second set of Metzeler Tourance tires I’ve put on this bike, the first being when I bought it. Great tires and a great fit for this specific motorcycle. At this point it needs nothing until the next oil change. While this is a well loved and beautifully running bike, it is not cosmetically in mint condition. Please look closely at the photos. The biggest flaw is the corrosion you can see on the engine covers on both sides of the bike. This corrosion was there when I bought it and I have no idea what the first owner did to cause it. The good news is that it hasn’t gotten any worse in the 7 years and 11,000 miles I’ve had it. Other than that, there are some minor blemishes but the paint work is still good and it all looks great from a few feet away. It is the most fun of any motorcycle I’ve owned. **Bike is sold “as is” and the buyer is responsible for shipping** **The bag shown on the bike in the last photo is NOT included**
