Vehicle Detail
Will personally drive it you for an additional $400 to cover my gas food and plane tickets back home to Phoenix. This offer good for anyone in California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas or Utah. I took the week off work so I'm free to deliver it in person for serious bidders. That's cheaper than a transport truck and you get proof you can drive it anywhere. I am getting a few messages asking about the price so i just want to be clear to those of you who never bought a car on eBay. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I removed the buy Buy IT NOW button because that has confused way too many people. Please don't text me asking if I will take $2000. The starting bid is $3500. If I only get one bidder then one lucky bidder gets a running driving Marauder for $3500. The highest bidder wins it. That's how this works. I will not be pulling the auction after the bidding starts so this is the real deal. If you want it you better bid. If you have questions please call/text or message through eBay. If you don't ask, that's on you, not me. If you have questions about the car, payment or shipping, now is the time to ask. Please most importantly!!! Research shipping costs if you are not picking up in person. I'll send pics with the new headlights in if anyone is interested. Damien 602 710-3419 Will consider trades 2003 Mercury Marauder Currently registered and passed emission in Arizona. This is my daily driver and has been for 3 years. This has a restored salvage title. If that is an issue, please skip this auctionYou are driving the car, not the title. The title has no effect on how the car runs so please don't waste your time or mine to tell me think my car is worthless because of a title branding.***Update: I just replaced the headlights so they are no longer sun damaged. I can text a pic of the new headlights***-4.6L DOHC Mustang Mach 1 engine 152,000 miles Box A (mostly highway miles because I work from home)-similar to the motor found in a Mustang Cobra, this is NOT a 4.6 SOHC police interceptor motor (much faster than that!)-Only 11,052 produced between 2003--2004, only 7,000 in black-limited slip differential with a 3.55 rear axle ratio -fitted stock with rack-and-pinion steering-stock Air bag suspension was replaced with new Monroe Springs. I will include a new set of air bags if you want go back to the the stock style.-Two 1 year old Yokohama tires on factory 18" rims, and two brand new Pirelli Tires on the back as of 2/28/17, still under warranty at Discount Tire-new windshield installed last year-beautiful interior with no rips or tears-factory Auto Meter gauges, yes factory!-Repairs made at Bell Ford on 12/31/15 $245 in repair receipts-Factory recall for LCM replacement to repair headlight issue-Oil change/Transmission fluid flush-Full diagnostic of vehicle, no check engine lights-upgraded to drilled/slotted rotors with carbon fiber brake pads-brand new replacement headlights (old ones were sun damaged)The bad:-Strange shifting issue that hasn't gotten better or worse in the past 3 years. It feels like a jerking or hard shift only when you accelerate quickly. During normal driving you never feel it unless you floor it. Sometimes it never happens at all. Goes through all the gears just fine. I bought it with this issue and it never got worse. Made several out of state trips. Most people don't even notice it on the test drive. Again it's only something you will notice if you have a lead foot.-When you press the lock button the front driver's side door doesn't lock unless you manually lock it-Paint is faded and light peeling on roof, needs paint-This is the big one for most people, yes it has a Restored Salvage title but you would never know it. Yes, you can have full coverage insurance on a Restored Salvage.-EATC climate control was dead and wouldn't turn on. I installed a ordered a new one and it turns on but now I have found out there is an issue with a vent located behind the dash. I had ICE cold AC before but will not turn on until the flap behind the dash is fixed. -Driver's side back window needs a new window motor. Likes to play dead and fall down by itself. The car is not perfect cosmetically but that's why I priced it accordingly for the very small issues it does have. This has been my daily driver for almost 3 years and it's gotten me everywhere. I even drove it to Washington and back without any issues March two years ago. I even have a pic of it next to the Golden Gate Bridge as proof. Drove it to L.A. and back several times this past year. I trust this car to drive anywhere. I am happy to answer any questions you have. Call or text but prefer phone calls. Will trade straight across for an Airstream Ford B190 Camper van, Caprice PPV, Excursion or something cool. On Jul-22-17 at 12:50:16 PDT, seller added the following information: ***Please no more messages or calls asking me to pull the auction. The Marauder is going to the highest bidder. I have no interest in your $2,000 offers. Please respect that and please read my listing before calling***
