Up for auction is an absolutely immaculate, unbelievably low mileage and original 1989 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4. This is a one owner truck, purchased new at Appleway Chevrolet in Spokane, WA, and still holds its original title from 1989. The original owner, who used the truck very rarely for pulling a camper trailer, kept this truck in pristine condition and stored it under cover for the majority of its life. With just 24,320 original miles, this truck is in virtually brand new showroom condition and shows extremely well both inside and out. The original set of Uniroyal tires still remain on the truck! The truck is equipped with several options such as A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel and factory A/M F/M cassette player. The interior is 100% original and absolutely flawless. The bench seat was covered since new and does not have one imperfection or any wear to the seat foam whatsoever. The dash, all gauges, gauge bezel and the original radio do not have any sun fading or cracking anywhere. The steering wheel is perfect without any sign of wear or discoloration. The carpets appear as new and do not have any imperfections throughout. The original floor mats still remain in the truck and are not worn or discolored. This truck has never been smoked in and the ash tray is like new. The paint on this truck is 100% original and has an excellent shine. The paint is virtually flawless aside from 3 minor scratches throughout the entire truck. One scratch, which is located towards the top of the driver's door frame as pictured, was from the original owner loading a kayak onto a previously installed kayak rack. A scratch at the bottom of the driver's door and one on the passenger side bedside, which are also pictured, occurred throughout its years in storage. The body is virtually perfect. The body gaps are very even throughout and the doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a brand new car. The tops of the bed rails towards the front of the bed are dented from the previously mentioned kayak rack, but could be covered with a bed cap. This truck does not have one bit of rust anywhere. The body is completely solid and all of the floor pans, door bottoms, tailgate, bed, and fenders appear as new. The frame and suspension components are very dry and only show a small amount of surface rust underneath. All of the factory original decals remain on the truck through the glovebox, door jambs, under the hood, and the undercarriage. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The engine runs very smoothly and quietly with tons of power. The transmission shifts smoothly with no vibrations throughout the drivetrain. The engine bay and underneath of the truck are extremely clean and do not have any major grease build up or signs of leakage. The steering and suspension are very tight and the ride is smooth and free of even the slightest squeak or rattle. Included with the sale are all of the original 1985 Chevrolet Truck owner’s manuals, original Uniroyal tire warranty pamphlet, original dealership document carrying case, original salesman's business card, the original sales invoice, build sheet, and a letter from General Motors to the original owner dated August 1990. Two sets of original keys with the knockouts and original dealer key chain are included as well. This truck is a time capsule and an absolute piece of history, likely being the lowest milege and most original truck of its kind in existence today.
