Please feel free ask any questions** Here is a 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser with 167,062 miles. It has the rear differential lock. This has been my wife car for the last 1 1/2 years. We’ve put about 10,000 miles on it along with 2 trips to the Outer Banks. It’s in good shape for a 1998 vehicle. These vehicles are some of the best ever made! Mechanical: The Cruiser is in good mechanical condition. The timing belt and water pump were done at 155k miles @ the dealership. The engine and transmission sound and shift perfect. I changed every fluid in the vehicle in June a year ago before our first beach trip. The fluids were perfect and didn’t need to be done. There is a ton of service records on the carfax and even more in the Toyota Database. The suspension is tight and rides good. It will need 2 front tires soon. They are at the wear marks. The front brake are good and the rear were changed last year for inspection. I could not get the rear diff lock to engage in my parking lot but it did engage last year on the beach after a few moments which can be common if they are never used. The frame is in good shape. It does have some surface rust on it but not too bad- see pics and video. Interior:The interior is in good shape for the year and mileage but it does show some wear. I did have the seat cushion on the drivers side replaced with leather. All options work on the car- AC, All Windows, Radio etc. The sunroof motor is dead and will need to be replaced. It does have the 3rd row seat. Again please look at all pictures and the video. Exterior: The exterior is in good shape. There isn’t any major dents or dings. I did have the front driver side fender painted due to a dent in it. It is a little darker. I took pictures of it to show the difference but it doesn’t look that noticeable in person. The rims have the usual “toyota” corrosion on them- not too bad. The rear bumper has a little fade. Please lookout all of the pictures and video for a closer look.
