Up for your consideration is a 1973 Honda CB750 café racer project. VIN plate shows a manufacture date of 04/72 but it is titled as a 1973. The motorcycle was a stock CB750K, tagged and being ridden when pulled off the road to café, circa 2010. Odometer is at 33738 and is actual mileage to the best of my knowledge. Frame finish is in great shape as is the motor with no cracked cooling fins. Since being taken off the road, it has been sitting in my garage taking space. I just don’t have the time or inclination to finish it. The carbs were drained and cylinders fogged for preservation. I pulled one of the bowls (see pics) and they look fine. The motor turns over fine. As shown in the pics, this will require some work. Do not think this is a turn-key bike you can ride away. The headlight needs to be put back on, the brakes need gone through and various other details will need attended to, such as fuel lines, throttle cables, etc. Tank is in great shape with some surface rust inside but the petcock leaks. The gas was drained and the tank coated with oil for preservation. It has an Airtech tail installed on hinges to get to the battery. Also included are the original side panels (the entire bike was painted yellow by previous owner). There’s a brand new Harley (copy) rear rim (I think it’s a 16”X4” but total diameter measures 17”) with stainless steel spokes. There are Beston grips and an extra set of foam grips, a pair of newer shocks, and bar-mounted mirrors. Also included is a spare rack of carbs, the Lucas taillight, some aftermarket turn signals and the rest of the items you see in the pic with the side panels.
