1966 MK1A SUNBEAM TiGER JAL 662499 B382002495 LRXFE 7102 B19KC 86 Certification # 0851 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Original Sunbeam Tiger MK1A - Original 260 engine - Original 4 speed Trans - Original wheels - Original interior - Original California Car with yellow on black California plates (we have both) - Original Soft top and Hard top comes with car - Hard top on car now / soft top is tucked into the factory holding rear pouch of car - Special L.A.T Bonnet/Hood - Berlin, Germany Talbot side mirror - Carpet is in good condition, included with sale is a brand new Tiger carpet kit from a well known carpet seamstress up in the Lake Tahoe region (Martha) who re-makes Tiger carpets. - Maintenance in Santa Clara, California by a gentlemen named Bill who knows everything there is to know about Sunbeam Tigers. - I believe we are the 2nd owners other then a secondary part-time ownership of same family owning the car for a short period of time due to inheritance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - hard top side windows have some blemishes in them but still fairly clear. - hard top paint is even and presentable but was not painted back when the car was. - small oil leak down below. - carpets are fairly nice but show slight wear. - engine bay is not immaculate but orderly, original and well kept. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List of some things done over the years: - Gas Tanks cleaned out / fuel lines re-plumbed - Trunk area and tank wells all cleaned out - Wheel cylinders and brakes done - Gauges all adjusted - Steering coupler replaced - Brake booster rebuilt - Radiator re-cored - Still have nice original hood included with sale - Repainted Raven Black (very nice) - Upgraded Pertronix ignition but still retains original distributor - Book of photos and most receipts - Car is well kept and clean ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Photos of undercarriage/underbody showing original factory primer and undercoat with no history of frame or body damage. All welds, seams and body structures original. Frame has been inspected and measured for factory specs and all correct. Looking for a good home so our Tiger can be preserved and enjoyed for many years. The Tiger looks, drives and runs great. Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer any request.
