1966 Chevelle Super Sport, runs, shifts, and drives very strong and well maintained True SS (138 code) original 396 was replaced by a 496 Stroker, 4 bolt main. (Most receipts for the car dating from 2004 to present and five service manuals are included). Aluminum Open chamber heads (115 cc), Valves 2.25 & 1.88, runners are 320 cc. Full Roller Rockers with chrome molly push rods and guide plates. Competition Cam is solid lifter with Duration 282, Lift .561. Has a 800 CFM Holley double pumper carb on top of the RPM performer air gap intake makes over 500 horse. Power range is from 2,200 to 6,500 RPM. Hooker Headers Super Competition long tube Ceramic coated with Hush Thrush dual exhaust mufflers. High volume oil pump with 6 quart pan. New Tremec 600 TKO 5 speed transmission 2.37 First gear and .64 Fifth gear has new fly wheel, pressure plate and Centerforce2 clutch. New heavy duty performance drive shaft with large front yoke to match the large fine spline output shaft. Has 12 bolt posi 4.10 rear end totally rebuilt in 2016 housing trued and welded the axle housing to the center carrier, all new harden gears, bearings, Moser axles and brake parts. Rear end has new competition support arms and mountings. New Manual steering gear box and disc front and manual rear brakes. Rally wheels Cooper Cobra tires are 245/60/R15 on front, 275/60/R15 on rear. Bucket seats, black interior, console, original 1966 correct knee knocker tach and added under the dash oil, engine temp and amp gauges. Original radio works and is included with other parts but replaced the radio with Concours Custom Auto Sound 300 watt player with ipod, USB, mp3, dvd controller. Frame is in very good condition, floor pans replaced and Eastwood sound and heat protected added. Rebuilt front end and has tubular upper a-arms for better control, new front springs, shocks and all frame bushings. New aluminum 4 core radiator. Vintage Air added to replace original A/C unit VA takes up much less room and is more efficient. Car has approximately 3500 Cruzan miles on it since rebuild. Vehicle is TO BE SOLD IN THE U.S.A.
