We, WORKS, are the original owner and bought this Evo X brand new in 2008 from San Rafael Mitsubishi in CA. This was the original development vehicle used to engineer the Evo X WORKS Motorsports product line. It went on display at the SF Auto Show, SEMA and Mitsubishi Owners Day at Mitsubishi corporate headquarters. It also competed in multiple Time Attacks and in the USTCC (United States Touring Car Championship). Perhaps it's best known for its filming of the BF Goodrich commercials at various locations around the country. The highest awards achieved were during the Redline Time Attack at Sonoma Raceway. Lars Wolf piloted 2nd place in the Modified AWD class while Dave Brown took 2nd Overall and 1st in the Modified class Super Session beating the COBB Tuning R35 GT-R and the ACS SPEED World Challenge Mustang. At Sonoma Raceway this Evo X is typically capable of low to high 1:50's depending on the fuel and accompanying tune. It's ready for normal HPDE track days and minor details may need to be updated in order to race depending on the sanctioning body rules. Clean CA title. Can be viewed at Sonoma Raceway by appointment or during NASA, Speed SF, Track Masters, Checkered Flag, Speed Ventures or Hooked On Driving events.
