It is with regret that I have decided to put our 55 Hollywood up for sale. Its a really nice car, but being a die hard ford muscle car guy, I have decided its just not for me.Here is your chance to own a super rare car, at an extremely affordable price! New carpet.Was last registered in 1977 in Iowa...to my knowledge, had not been driven or even run since 1977.Here is what I did to it since I purchased it about a year ago:Complete brake system rebuild: All new cylinders, shoes, brake lines. Bendix Treadle vac system professionally rebuilt.Complete engine tune up: wires, rotor, cap, plugs. Carb rebuilt.Complete fuel system rebuild: Tank boiled and sealed, new sender, all new fuel lines, electric fuel pump installed.Complete cleaning.Steering wheel repairedThings that still need to be done:Transmission: operational, but 2nd gear is slipping a little. Vibration over 40mph. I was told that since the car sat for 40+ years, that its likely that sludge is packed into one side of the torque converter, so its off balance.PS Rear quarter window: Electric motor works (as do 3 other windows), wiring from motor to switch needs to be repaired. Both rear quarter windows and mechanisms have been cleaned and tested, need to be re-installed.Driver side side window is cracked, needs to be replaced.Engine: The engine runs flawlessly, and is virtually smoke free. I have driven the car around town a little, and its amazing how well the 202 runs after sitting for 40 years.This car is a nice driver quality. A previous owner did a repaint on it, which is about all I know.This 55 Hollywood is available for the buy it now price of only $6000.Thanks for looking.
