I have owned this car since 2000. I have had it constantly repaired. It does NOT currently run. The local Honda dealership said that it may need an ignition coil. I'm tired of messing with it. The fuel filter and carburetor were twice replaced recently. I constantly had to start the car about every 48 hours to keep it going the last year or so. The engine has about ~173,021 miles. The car has about 420,041 miles. However, the replaced odometer/gauge cluster reads 272,787 miles. Recent repairs: Fuel filter 10/2016 Valve cover gasket 10/2016 Steering fluid 10/2016 Resurfaced front brakes 10/2016 Fuel pump replaced 08/2016 Front brake pads and slide pins 06/2016 Rear wheel cylinders 06/2016 Alignment 03/2016 New tires 02/2016 Carburetor assembly 08/2015 Both front brake lines 03/2015 Both lower ball joints 12/2014 Distributor sub assembly 06/2014 Right axle seal 04/2014 Thermostat gasket 04/2014 Transmission assembly 10/2013 Front crank seal 05/2013 Right axle assembly 03/2013 Speed-O cable 07/2012 Radiator 07/2012 Power steering pressure hose 10/2011 Oil leaks fixed 10/2011 Engine with ~110,000 miles installed 04/2011 All repairs except the new tires were performed by the local Honda dealership. There is a dent on the right side where I hit a mailbox around 2001 and never repaired the dent -- see photo. On Jun-13-17 at 15:22:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Other older repairs: Front and rear struts replaced 06/2010 Oil filter o-ring 02/2010 Power steering fluid pump 02/2010 Front brake rotors 09/2009 Upper ball joints 04/2009 Axle and left-front axle boot 06/2007 Right-front outer door handle 10/2006 Power steering rack 02/2006 Rear wheel cylinders 01/2005 Upper ball joint control arm assembly 01/2005 Air-conditioner kit with compressor/clutch and receiver/dryer ass 05/2004 Right-front strut cover 04/2004 On Jun-14-17 at 09:02:11 PDT, seller added the following information: The water pump ($84.66) and the timing belt ($52.25) were essentially replaced when the engine was replaced about 6 years ago, so I guess the timing belt probably needs to be replaced in about 27,000 more miles, but I am not an expert. The estimated engine mileage is ~173,021, not 1730221. I believe the used engine was from an automatic transmission Honda accord. On Jun-14-17 at 09:22:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Other notes: The alternator was replaced around 02/2012, not by the Honda dealership. I seem to remember that around the last year or so that the front passenger floor area was damp or wet after I guess times when it would rain. There has been a gap at the front window the last few years -- see photo. You can manual fix it with your hands, but it will slide out of place again if the window goes down. The air-conditioner was working the last time I checked it last autumn, but it may have needed freon. The front windshield has probably been replaced once or twice, not by the Honda dealership. The gas cap has been replaced. The muffler was been replaced at least once or several times, not by the Honda dealership. I can't remember. The distributor cap may have been replaced more than once as the car wanted to die at stop signs years ago when it was raining. Gauge cluster (odometer) was replaced in attempt to get the electrical system to work better as the headlights have to go up and down. Sometimes the headlights would not flip down immediately, but this still happens sometimes.
