This car was purchased to be built into another Rothmans Rally tribute car, but other projects are more important right now and this car is taking up valuable space! This car is at the perfect stage to continue building into a rally style car or take a different route and build the track car you keep saying you'll build!! It's ready to build so MAKE SURE you go through the pictures and ask any questions you may have!! Condition This car retains all of its original body panels and is EXTREMELY clean across the exterior and underside which is virtually rust free as the pictures show. A custom built roll cage has been installed throughout the car in preparation for the Rothmans conversion. The exterior will require complete paintwork or some bodywork and a complete vinyl wrap. Most of the original interior is out of the car and is good condition, but there are a few missing pieces. Mechanicals As shown in the pictures, the engine is out of the car and in pieces. All the internal parts are included and should be ready to be installed but the project stalled before the engine was to be built. The engine is a euro spec setup and decodes as such. No transmission is with the car. Purchase We are happy to show the car or meet with inspectors but this is strictly by appointment only! The car is located just 20 minutes north of Chicago and also from O'Hare airport. The car is for sale locally and this auction can be canceled at any time due to local purchase. A deposit is to be paid via paypal to secure the purchase, with the balance being paid by wire transfer, certified check, or in cash.
