This is my first, my own personal Ariel Atom. It is the one that I fell in love with, so much so that I became a dealer for Ariel, and have already sold twenty five of them. Jay Leno took #1, and mine for sale now is #72. Mine has only 8,450 miles on it. Since I became a dealer, I have been driving and racing the Honda powered Ariels, which is all that is available now. It makes good business sense for me to be using what we are selling, so that is why my Atom miles the last several years have been in the Honda-powered ones instead of the Chevy one I have for sale. My Ariel is in excellent shape, as you can see in the pictures, and it is completely ready for use on the track or the street, needing nothing. I am the original owner/driver, having acquired the car with only the five test miles that the factory put on them. The car has never sustained any accident damage. The bright silver on my chassis is actually better looking, I think, than the ones that have come later. My car for sale is the actual poster car for AtomFest II, and mine set the all time track record there, on the first day of the event. This Atom was equipped at the factory with the carbon fiber bodywork and the other high-end options. Also I have personally corrected all of the items that were not right as received from the factory, items that would have been recalls if from a major manufacturer. I have upgraded and strengthened the engine, chassis, driveline, suspension, and braking system for better lap times, but with safety and reliability, to withstand higher horsepower and better traction and to withstand higher gee loading and record-breaking track use. I have details of my upgrades listed below. There is a brand new complete Chevy LSJ engine in the car now, with only test miles to verify correct operation of all systems after the new engine installation. I took the original engine out of the car and made a very high horsepower race/street engine out of it, and that complete engine is also included with the sale of the car. This race engine is now disassembled for inspection and repair of a failed head gasket, which I now know how to cure. There are FOUR complete sets of wheels and tires, some of which have never even been bolted on the car, and two more 14” wide racing wheels with Hoosier racing rubber, and an additional 14” wide racing wheel that has never been used or had a tire on it, for a spare. See pictures for more on the tires and wheels. HP Tuners tuning tool and data logger included in the sale. This is how I corrected the defective tune that was originally in the car. See the pictured dyno printouts to see how bad the OEM tune was, and how safe and smooth my tune is, and how much more power I made. This tuning tool is mandatory for the race engine, with all the upgrades from stock. Unlimited tuning and data logging with this.
