1996 Miata MX-5 M Edition I bought this car Aug, 2015 with approximately 97k. So I have put just about 2000 miles on it and always kept garaged even through the winter. Never drove it in the winter. The body is rust free. No surface rust top or bottom. However I would consider this to be a drivers car. Meaning that the paint has several dings and a few touch ups. It could use a paint job to be very nice. The silver stripe is a decal and can be easily removed if you prefer. The M Edition comes with power windows, leather seats and ABS brakes. When I purchased the car It needed a timing belt and then I progressively started make several other upgrades. It is all just broken in. As started above the paint is not perfect. The seats also have wear. This sort of thing just doesn't come out well in pictures. This is more of a drivers car the way it is but a prime candidate for paint to make "very" nice. It starts and idles great. Sounds deep and throaty not like a high pitched rice grinder. Compression and leak down tests checked out with in range. It's a very smooth running car. The horn and airbag have been disconnected to swap the stock steering wheel with a Momo wheel that is also included.If you must know the reason I am selling, it is only because I prefer a V8 car. This Miata is about as much fun as anyone could have in a little four cylinder. It handles corners and brakes like nothing I've ever driven. I can assist a hauler if needed and you are welcome to look if you are close by. For the rookies.
