VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman S. The 2008 MINI Cooper S Clubman--extroverted styling in a slightly bigger package with more power makes for a fun car that is hard not to look at with a broad smile. SPECIFICATIONS: 1.6 liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 172HP @ 5500 RPM, 177 ft-lb torque @ 1600 RPM, front engine rear drive, automatic transmission. FEATURES: Premium and sport package, power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes, leather, moonroof, navigation, air conditioning and AM/FM/CD. VEHICLE CONDITION: INTERIOR: The interior of this car is clean. No rips or tears. The seats are firm and comfortable. EXTERIOR: The body is straight with no dents or scratches. There are numerous chips on the nose of the car and around, and a small scuff under the front bumper. EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine and drive train all work as they should. The engine starts right up with no unusual noises or vibrations and no smoke. The transmission shifts as it should. This car may need an alternator. When we picked it up, it was dead. It would start on a jump, but would not stay running after removing jump box. We did replace the battery, and it runs fine. TIRES: The tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. There is some road rash all of the wheels (see pics). BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal and the parking brake works as expected. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE: A $250 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cashier’s check or bank check only! Buyer will arrange, pay for, and have the vehicle shipped within 30 days of close of auction. We will be glad to help with transportation. NJ residents will be required to pay 6.875% NJ sales tax. There is a $190 documentation fee. Temporary tags are available for $8 if you pick the car up and want to drive it home. Proof of insurance is required. Good Luck!
