This truck sold new in 1967 at Graves Auto Service Inc. in Kennewick, WA. This truck still holds its original title, issued on February 23, 1967, still inside of the original postage envelope post dated March 1, 1967. A camper was installed on the truck shortly after its purchase and was used as a camping vehicle its entire life until put into storage. The truck was stored under a lean-to on a farm in Cornell, WA for approximately 20 years until it was recently discovered and brought back to running condition. This truck is in absolutely incredible all original condition. The interior is extremely clean and free of any major wear or than the deterioration of the back rest of the front bench seat. The dash is in impeccable shape with absolutely no corrosion on the chrome machine turned gauge bezel piece. The steering wheel is in beautiful condition, having just two small cracks near the center hub. The horn ring appears as new and has no corrosion whatsoever. All of the original control knobs for the heater controls, as well as the cigarette lighter remain in the truck and still work. The dash-mounted gear selector functions perfectly with no binding and is in excellent condition. The original A/C unit remains in the cab and the blower motor still works. All of the gauges work. The headliner is completely intact and in excellent condition, although it is sagging in the rear of the cab. The factory rubber floor liners appear as new and have virtually no cracking or damage anywhere. The factory seat belts remain in the truck. The paint on this truck is 100% original and wears the patina of a 50 year old truck very well. The body is extremely straight aside from a few small dings. All of the exterior stainless trim is near perfect with virtually no pitting or corrosion anywhere. The body is entirely rust free aside from one small pin hole in the passenger side rocker panel near the rear door. The original front floor pans had a very minimal amount of rust, so they were professionally repaired with the installation of new pans on both the driver and passenger side. All of the factory spot welds throughout the cab, fenders, and bed are in excellent shape and appear as new with zero rust or separations. The roof drip rails, inner fenders, firewall, rear floor pans, bed, tailgate, and A pillars are 100% rust free and dry. The undercarriage is also entirely rust free and dry, having just a minimal amount of surface rust on the frame and suspension components. The doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a new truck and have excellent gaps throughout. All of the factory original decals remain on the truck throughout the engine bay, as well as factory chalk markings on the firewall and the underside of the hood. All of the metal body tags with identification numbers remain on the cab and bed. The original plastic Chrysler service interval placard still remains riveted to the driver's front door jamb. This truck runs and drives extremely well. The original 318 V8 runs smoothly and still has the original 2 barrel carburetor. The original 727 torque flight automatic transmission shifts well. The fuel tank was just boiled and resealed and had a new sending until installed. A new fuel pump and filter were also installed, as well as a rebuild of all 4 drum brake assemblies. The tires appear new, having no weather checking or cracking, but are flat spotted from sitting. Included with the sale is the original title, original keys, original dealership key chains with the original owner's name printed on them, and the original Dodge Truck build sheet which was found under the rear seat. This truck is truly a time capsule and a piece of history and will not disappoint. If you are looking for an early crew cab dodge truck, this is the one!
