Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a beautifully restored Honda CB 750F Super Sport. It has professionally sprayed custom paint job (black paint, with slight sparkle flake and dark Blue accent stripes to mimic the original design) with clear coat over that. This motorcycle is running great with freshly rebuilt carburetors with new (larger) pilot and main jets installed, new Uni-Filter pod filters, new(er) Vance and Hines 4-into-1 Pipe. It has upgraded ignition coils from a later model CBR600F2, as this is one of the trick set-ups to get a hotter spark (with newer plug wires and new spark plugs). The gas tank has recently been cleaned and sealed on the inside with the POR-15 tank sealer kit. It has a new Fuel petcock and fuel hoses and runs really well (I run 93 octane). It has a new battery with electric start. It has a removable Maier bikini fairing that was custom painted to match the bike. You can remove it in 5 minutes and run it without the fairing too. The tires are brand new (19" front and 18" rear) with only about 50 miles on them. The factory wheels are clean and straight. It has a new chain and sprockets installed. The seat is a newer Saddleman seat in excellent condition. The brakes have been rebuilt with fresh fluid and pads. The suspension has been upgraded with newer shocks from a CB900F. It has new turn signals on the front and a new super bright headlight installed. It has new Biltwell Tracker bars installed and new bar ends. The odometer shows about 6,650 miles on it. It was changed out to a newer unit with white-faced gages by the previous owner. He said it had 18,000 miles on it when he changed it out. So, I figure the engine has about 24,600 miles on it and has just been freshened up with new top and bottom end seals and gaskets, main output shaft seal, and oil pan seals. It has fresh oil and a new filter installed. The valves have just been adjusted by a professional mechanic. All of the engine work was done by a Sweet Cycles here in St. Louis, MO The bike is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. It comes with some spare parts as well. I have the original exhaust, the original air box and filter, and some spares you can have. You can turn it back into a stock bike if desired. It is a great bike, starts right up, and runs well. It is really fun to ride. I just took it out for a 40 mile ride around St Louis this weekend, and it ran great. It is a rare vintage (naked) sport bike and shows well at the local cruises and show nights. This is a numbers matching bike that very clean, runs strong, and is increasing in value. I have a clean MO title. Hi-Res pictures have been taken to represent the true condition of the bike. Please ask questions. It is a 35+ year old bike and is not perfect. I has normal wear and tear, a few scratches, and minor dings in just a couple places. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. US shipping only. I will help with logistics as needed on my end. $500 is due within 48 hours of auction close by paypal and the balance of the Payment can be made in cash when the bike is picked up or can be made with a secure bank direct wire transfer. On Apr-15-17 at 06:30:14 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple other things: On the spare parts that come with it. You will get an extra seat (that is uncovered), a stator assembly, the full stock airbox and factory exhaust system, a rear tail fairing (not paint matched), a spare stock rear fender assembly with rear tail light housing, some extra brake calipers (stock stuff), and more. This bike has a lot of minor custom touches that make it a great looking vintage sport bike from the CB900 upgraded parts to the aluminum Foot peg brackets (all drilled out like the factory race bikes and later CB900F to shave weight). This bike has just had $2,000 in mechanical service and new parts installed (as noted above) in the last year, and that does not include the cost to buy the bike in the first place! This is a great deal for someone. The engine runs really well and sounds great too. Bid with confidence. This bike has a clear MO title and current safety inspection from October 2016. It is ready to show and ride.
