Please go to southernboysalliance.com for over 100 detailed pics and videos. NO RESERVE AUCTION/ HIGHEST BID WINS. This is a 1993 Cadillac Allante convertible, body hand built by Pininfarina with the 32v 295 hp Northstar engine, representing the best of this GM platform that culminated in 1993. This is one of the final 500 (492) Allantes ever built!! It is a V4J car, Eldorado engine and drive train model. Only the final cars shared this drivetrain, which means lots of parts available. Unfortunately, this is not true of earlier Allantes. These final cars were far superior to the other Northstar vehicles and light years ahead of the other Allante years. Over one horsepower per cubic inch was a magic number in 1993 and still great today. This two-owner car was pulled from an estate. Car has a new battery and oil change. Mileage is 56,500. Condition overall is excellent This car is a true time capsule. This vehicle is being offered thousands below NADA Value. The car drives and handles strong and precise. Excellent acceleration and driveability on the highway and street. Shifts perfectly through all gears. I have driven this car 500 miles and found no issues. Nice exhaust note. Convertible top pull down motor works and the top is quiet and tight at high speed, and is the original material. Brakes are quiet and strong. Tires are 90% Michelins with no issues. Every gauge, button, (there are many!) dial, lever, light, and convenience feature works, including the headlight washers, power mirrors, power antenna, seats, dimmer lights, trunk and top pull down motors, windows/locks, AC/ heat climate control, rear defrost..all work as new. GM service manual included as is owners manual along with all top operating sheets and original Cadillac calculator. This car even has the optional analogue gauge cluster instead of the tacky, prone to failure digital dash. The body is as close to perfect as possible. The top looks to have had very little sun exposure and fits as new. No rips/tears/wrinkles/fading. No leaks or wind noise. Bumpers and trim all excellent. No bondo repair and paint all presents as original. Door and window fitment as new. This car was stored/covered, and shown in car shows. The condition supports that claim. This is the best interior I have ever seen! No rips, tears, holes, or fading. No other nappy wear spots anywhere. Carpet looks new. Floor mats look new. Leather on the steering wheel, shifter and center armrest are unmarred and show tight stitching. Dash face, glove, door panels all beautiful. Rear carpet and shelf is the same. Trunk presents as unused. Spare tire and tools with instruction wheel cover are same. Top fold down area looks new. This is one of the nicest, lowest mileage examples still available in the collectible Allante line. Local or nearby bidders please come see and drive it. You will want to purchase it on the spot. I will answer any questions and send more pics as requested. I have 100% feedback on all items. Most of which are big ticket items. I will keep my feedback at 100%. This is a strict eBay auction with a fair start and NO RESERVE. Required $500.00 US deposit from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction end via PayPal and full payment within 72 hours of auction end. I must have the PayPal payment or cleared cashiers check before releasing the vehicle to you or your transport. . DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT PAY ON TIME. I will assist/meet your transport at my secure location in Port Charlotte Florida, but shipping is entirely the responsibility of buyer. I am representing this car as clearly as possible. There is no warranty, sold as is. Car is being sold locally and I reserve the option to end auction early. About the car's drivetrain: 1993 was the very last year of production for the Cadillac Allante and GM finally got the entire car right, offering the best power plant available, the 4.6L Northstar DOHC, 32 valve V8, which almost double the horsepower from the introduction of the Allante in 1987, now producing 295 horsepower and 290 lbs. of torque in stock form. Car leaks no fluids and underside is dry. These engines were made out of aluminum and magnesium. They are designed that in event of emergency and you lose all of your coolant you can still drive this vehicle up to 100 miles. It alternates the firing order between cylinders to keep it cool to get you home. How is that for amazing technology in 1993!! This Allante engine is very clean all over, nice original painted surfaces, and the cooling system has seen regular maintenance. The car always stays cool, even on 100 degree days with the A/C on in the middle of Florida. No codes or warning messages. Automatic dampening suspension, anti lock brakes, traction control, cruise control, and variable assist suspension all work perfectly. The car rides, drives, steers, handles, perfectly.. Again... Perfect. About the Car's Computers and Electronics: All the electrical, on-board computers, digital dash functions and displays work correctly. The car has no Check Engine lights or computer codes. The car has cold A/C, all the lighting system, electric windows, wipers, horn, cruise control, electric mirrors, electric seat functions, pull down motor for the trunk and convertible top, active suspension, ABS, works correctly. The sound system works and sounds great. Power antenna works perfectly. Bose CD and tape deck works perfectly. Windows, locks, all work fine. About the car's interior: The interior looks like new. This is the most beautiful interior I have ever seen on a car this age. My 2012 mustang does not look this good. Carpet shows as new, leather as new, steering wheel and shifter as new. Same for the dash, power seats, top, glove box, center console, everything is perfect about the interior. Power windows and locks are excellent. Door panels are flawless like the rest of this vehicle. View the numerous pics and videos at southernboysalliance.com and you will truly understand what I mean. About the Cars Exterior and Under Carriage: Original U9868 Tricolor Pearl White paint is gorgeous on this vehicle. You can really tell that this was a garaged show car with trophies to show for it. Top is excellent. Paint and Body excellent. Absolutely not a single piece of rust on this vehicle anywhere. There is barely any dirt on this vehicle. Under carriage is clean and nice. The hood and trunk on the Allantes are constructed out of aluminum for weight savings. With full disclosure in mind, here is a list of cosmetic issues and minor inconveniences that are present on this 24 year old car. There is one small quarter size door ding on the front drivers finder. Can not see unless within 3 feet. See pics Drivers seat shows the smallest amount of wear. See pics. Passenger side vanity mirror and light does not work. I am currently in a struggle with autocheck to get them to correct the report on this vehicle. In 2012 a small box fell of the back of a pick up truck and the Cadillac struck it. Flattened the tire and cracked the air damn. All were easily fixed. Again this was only reported for insurance purposes. I have the police report to back this up. No other reporting agency that I have used shows it at all. Try vehiclehistory.com and you will see what I mean. Hopefully this will be corrected in the coming week. Cadillac also wanted to re-capture the magic and prestige of the iconic late 1950’ success. Cadillac’s Management now had the idea of rekindling its relationship with the famous European design house and their renowned coachbuilding skills, in order to compete directly with the European auto makers. In the early 30’s Cadillac began its relationship with Pininfarina. After WW II, Cadillac reached an agreement with Pininfarina to build special bodied coupes and convertibles for the Hollywood star set and wealthy moguls. In the late 50’s Pininfarina produced 200 of the most iconic cars in Cadillac history. The Allanté was born Originally created under the code name "Callisto," the Allante was designed and hand built in Turin, Italy, by noted coachbuilder Pininfarina. The new car was a true Italian-American offspring, below its sleekly styled Italian bodywork lied the heart of an American V-8 engine and transmission, as well as other reliable mechanicals. In all respects, the Allante represented the best of both worlds, a car embossed with an impeccable European styling and road feel with a reliable American V8 drivetrain. The Cadillac Allante was built between the years of 87 to 93 and the cars name Allante means glider in Italian. Cadillac wanted desperately set a new forward direction for the entire Cadillac line with the statement, “Allante, The new spirit of Cadillac”. The entire car was ground breaking and very aggressive on all levels. The timeless body shape was built in Italy and sent to Detroit (A 9,000 MILE PRODUCTION LINE!) on specially equipped Boeing 747 that held 56 cars on special dollies. The cars went directly to the GM production line for fitment of the engine transmission and suspension. With great anticipation the legendary North Star, 32 valve engines were finely ready to release in Cadillac’s Allante. This was such an extraordinary engine that it stayed in production for 17 years and ended in 2010. Mid year 1993 models with V4J designation code (which this vehicle has) were the last and most advanced Allantes ever built. Used the Eldorado engine and drivetrain. The car captured the public’s imagination during its production, sexily Italian lines and cost $65,000, an equivalent of over 100 thousand dollars in today’s money. The legendary Northstar 32 valve engine was mated to the 4T80E automatic transmission in the 1993 model year, providing 295 horsepower, propelling this little Italian American sports car with ease and ending all complaints of lack of power. The Road Sensing Suspension and active damper management system and variable-assist power steering rack and pinion steering were added to the 1993 Allante. Just as Cadillac got it all right, they stopped the production of the Allante in 1993. Production numbers in 6 years totaled only 21,430 and only 4,670 produced in 1993. The Allante’s Value: NADA Value standard 1993 Allante:Original $59,975, Low $7,325, Average $10,550, High $14,400 Many automotive experts are predicting that the Allante will be a highly collectible in the near future. When the last cars turn 25 years old next year, the cars prices will get more valuable and will continue to steadily rise in value. This car will most likely perform better than your other investments and give you more pleasure by just sitting in your garage. Spring is here and it is time to be driving the ultimate Italian / American Grand Turing luxury Convertible Sports Car.
