THIS AUCTION IS FOR A PAIR OF CA160s. RED BIKE: Purchased a few years ago while on a nostalgia kick, this bike showed a little over 8,000 miles and was barely running. After a tune-up, valve adjustment, oil change, battery, air filter, and carburetor rebuild, it now runs fine. New tires have been installed and they have about 600 miles on them.WHITE BIKE: This was originally bought as a parts bike for the red bike. However, it was too complete to use that way so I put it back on the road. This bike had about 10,000 miles and was not running. I disassembled this bike completely (leaving engine and transmission alone). Thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, new (NOS) wire harness, bulbs, cables, carb rebuild, tune up, air filter, new tires (have about 300 miles on them), battery, and cleaned clutch disks (old oil and gunk). While apart, it was also treated to a new coat of paint.BOTH BIKES: Both speedometers have been replaced with NOS units as the original on the red bike failed while I was riding it, and the white bike's was frozen. New exhaust baffles where needed. The exhaust systems on both bikes are very solid and presentable - no rust - just a few dings. One complete original tool set, service manual, parts manual, owner's manual and a number of issues of the plubication from the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club will come with the bikes. There are also a number of spare parts that have come my way over the years that will go with the bikes. Both bikes have clean titles in my name. The red bike is titled as a 1967, but it has an earlier serial number (CA1601003058). They were acutally titled when sold, not necessarily when manufactured.
