Vehicle Detail
This '86 560SEL is in remarkable shape for its age and runs very well and still wears its original paint and interior. Car comes with original service booklet with coupons torn out up to 90k, with the mileage at 85,812 as of 12/8/1993. As of now, the mileage is currently 114,536. According to the previous owner, both fuel pumps were replaced, and a new battery was installed in 2015. Since I have owned the car the following work has been done: New Falken Sincera tires (1/23/16, @108,640) New Bosch Electro-Hydraulic-Actuator Replaced all intake gaskets, injector seals, new spark plugs, new coolant temperature sensor, injectors tested, ignition timing adjusted (3/15/16, @108,914) Replaced climate control module Replaced rear brake pads Recent oil change, with factory MB filter (3/22/17, @114,020) New air intake hoses All fuses replaced with correct copper fuses New mono-valve (not yet installed) As a 31-year old car, this 560SEL is in excellent condition but does have a few imperfections. To the best of my knowledge the following things on the car do not work. Before being purchased by the previous owners, the car was driven very infrequently and as a result, mice chewed some wires and hoses on the car. The soft line to the A/C condenser has a hole and as a result the A/C is not currently working. The ABS is not working, the wiring going to the wheel sensors for the ABS were damaged and the passenger side wires were repaired and the ABS started to work then stopped. The system is good, but I believe the driver side wires need repair now. The driver side rear window needs a new regulator, the power antenna does not work, and the passenger side power mirror does not work, besides that, everything else on the car works. All the power seats work, inluding the headrests, all the seat heaters work. Since replacing the climate control module, the heater and blower work, as well as the climate control cabin sensor and fan. The sunroof works, all the power locks work, including the trunk, and all the gauges work except for the clock. The car does have the normal dings and dents that come with a car of this age, and there is a spot on the passenger side of the hood where the clearcoat is beginning to fade. The interior is in excellent shape with minor wear, the passenger side rear seat has one rip but the interior is intact otherwise. Adult owned 114,XXX-miles JVC headunit with Aux input (car comes with original Becker radio) Power steering Power brakes Power windows Power door locks Power seats Power headrests Power telescoping steering wheel Heated front and rear seats Power reclining rear seat Power sunroof Air Conditioning Cruise Control Self-leveling rear suspension Driver airbag All original glass Original Bosch headlights and foglights Overall, this 560SEL is in great shape for its age, and runs very well with plenty of power. Recently passed smog as of 3/7/17 and tags good until November 2017. This car is being sold as-is, where-is. No warranty is expressed or implied.
