1964 Renault Dauphine (Named Kennedy); Last year for the Dauphine 1956-1964. Blue & red primer. Was originally a front-end sheet metal only (no frame damage) crunch victim. Front fenders, bonnet, cross member, spare tire door all replaced with the front pieces from a 1959 Renault Dauphine. (Nickname Frankenstein) Engine out and complete. Found to have a knock; On engine stand (I have tricks I could teach you about the motors-very strong). A 12 Volt car with front disc brakes. Needs interior. I have most parts for the engine rebuild if you cannot find stuff to fix. Last R1090 engine cost me under $500.00. Small motors easy to work on and if your handy you can get by with just the machining and put together yourself. I can furnish you with factory shop manual pages of instruction if needed. Parts seem readily available on Ebay and other outlets. I rebuilt 2 1/2 R1090's and had no problem finding parts (at several prices). I will deliver the car and its parts to you if you are within 200 miles otherwise buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up. I could meet you 200 miles from me if you are somewhat close. I will be available to assist you and find you parts if I don't have them. We can always work out something to make it all work for you to save this car. If you were to part-out this car (I hope not) the parts would bring you close to $2500.00. Windshield is cracked but may be fixable now-a-days, if not they are available and I have an extra. All other glass, including precious and rare back window is fine. Has been inside storage/work shop since I rescued it some 15 years ago or so. No rust vehicle with a title! Title is worth $300.00.
