Vehicle Detail
I used this car as my daily driver for about a year and a half. I purchased it when it had about 220k on it. The car ran excellent, and even handled snow pretty well. It is not currently running, and has been sitting since August of last year. The interior needs a cleaning, but it is in very good shape for the mileage and age of the car. The leather shows age, but no cracks and no tears or rips. Give it a quick detail and the interior looks almost new again. Problems with the car... I went away for a vacation and the car sat for 7 days while I was gone. When I came back into town the car wouldn't start, and it has not started since. It will crank but won't kick over and fire up. Since it ran perfectly up until sitting for 7 days while I was on vacation, I'm confident that the problem is the ECU. They tend to burn up in these cars and after everything I've already replaced, that's the most likely culprit. However I make no guarantees as to what the problem actually is, that is just my personal assessment. There is also a crack in the lower portion of the windshield. The windshield will most likely need to be replaced. The front bumper shows damage on the drivers side, directly under the drivers side headlight. You can see it in the pictures, but that is the only damage to the exterior of the vehicle. No major scratches, dents, or scuffs. What I have already replaced... CPS Sensor, Fuel filter, and Battery (car comes with a brand new $200 Autocraft battery - purchased 9/2016) I was originally planning to fix this myself, but seeing as how it's been sitting for the last few months it's safe to say I just don't have time. The car makes a great beater/daily driver and gets decent MPG. It has a lot of miles at 240k+, but the motor runs strong and doesn't even burn oil. The car was meticulously cared for by the prior owner, who owned the car up until selling to me. The miles are highway mileage from driving from DC to GA multiple times per week by the prior owner. Once the starting problem is resolved this will make a very good vehicle for someone. CAR DOES NOT RUN Buyer is responsible for towing the car away. Please be ready to take delivery within 3 days of auction close. Full payment expected within 3 days of auction close. On Feb-09-17 at 18:26:48 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to add that both rear wheel bearings have also been replaced. They were replaced w/ new wheel bearings around April of 2016. I also replaced the power steering high pressure line in April of 2016 as well.
