This is a beautiful 1983 Honda CR250R, last year of the drum brake, ARMHA LEGAL!, left side kick and clutch design.And YES, it does have the magnesium clutch case, notorious for corrosion. I have completely bead blasted, JB Weld epoxy filled, and re-machined the entire impeller assembly. Radiators, hoses, all passages etc. thoroughly cleaned, new hose clamps, gaskets, NEW, NOS Honda water pump spring set, bearing, and NOS seals, etc. (Check the photos). System filled with waterless "Maxima Coolanol", great stuff.Fresh gearbox oil, 10-40 Maxima "clutch safe" 4-Stroke oil, completely rebuilt carburetor, new TYGON fuel line, rebuild petcock, perfectly clean gas tank, NEW "NoToil" air filter, NEW Dunlop K139 Front Tire, very good (75%) Dunlop K695 rear, NEW "Factory Effex" number plate backgrounds, completely flushed and lubed original cables, both brakes assembles completely cleaned and lubed, throttle assembly as well, levers are perfect, ANSWER "Bob Hannah" Replicas bars, NEW NOS Showa Factory Fork Boots, NEW, NOS Honda Forks seals and dust caps, fresh Maxima 10 weight for oil, (170mm).This bike was owned by a gentleman in the San Bernardino Mountains of California, (very close to me), and he bought it new to simply go trail riding in the hills, and in the High Desert below. There is NO rust or corrosion, we live in the desert! All of the fenders, panels plastic etc. are ORIGINAL, decals and graphics as well. This bike has lead a very easy life by "motocross" standards, and comes with current 2017 GREEN STICKER! With springtime here, you can buy this bike and go riding THIS weekend, or later this summer, and not have to invest weeks and $$ trying to resurect that pile in your in your garage, it's ready!
