For sale is a 2003 Ford Windstar SE Minivan that would make someone a great family van or a good work van. The engine is strong and the transmission seems to be working as it should. This van has been solid and has served my family very well in the past years. There are many good qualities in this van and I wouldn't think twice about driving it across the country. With this said I do want to mention a few things that are wrong with as the age is catching up with it and it's not a perfect van as it once was new. Things that are not working properly, the air conditioning is not working. I have placed a used compressor in it and it seems that the lines are blocked or something is wrong. I'm not a mechanic so it could be a simple fix for someone that knows what they are doing. The only window that goes down is the driver side. The passenger window has a mind of its own and will go down sometimes but not always. The back vent windows do not open. The back liftgate has been replaced with another used one due to a parking lot fender bender where someone backed into the van. We replaced the liftgate but the color isn't a perfect match, but is not noticeable unless you get in the sun and look at an angle. The body is in decent shape minus the scratches and dings as a normal family van this age will have. There is a small patch of rust just starting to form on the lower back passenger sliding door panel. The check engine light is on, and when I had it serviced they said it was a sensor and nothing to worry about. Everything is functional and really nothing would stop this van from running. We currently are still using it as our family van and recently just got back from a trip with no issues at all. This van starts right up and drives away with no issues. Obviously this van is used and the age and miles are up there. So I've disclosed all that I can, but can not guarantee everything as I do not know how long it can last.
